Profile

Raised in Gabon and Côte d’Ivoire (West africa) until the age of 18.  Living today close to Brussels- Belgium, my roots and heart still lie in Africa.

I graduated as a Business Engineer and followed a career in Business Development and Marketing Communication, until 2013 when I finally decided to pursue full time the creative path.

My passion for beads started over 20 years ago with ancient and contemporary african beads. It led me, over 10 years ago, into working with glass and exploring its many different techniques: hot and cold.

Glass is a versatile medium that holds infinite possibilities. It offers transparence and opacity, plasticity and hardness, softness and roughness… It allows beauty and emotions to pass through it … it calls for touching and feeling …

My work mainly focuses on the creation of unique objects, whether it’s a piece of jewelry, a sculpture, a painting or a functional piece.

I also graduated as a gemmologist from the HRD (Hoge Raad voor Diamant) in Antwerp and took the Rio Rewards PMC certification (Precious Metal Clay) in Orlando- FL.
